An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Construction Administrator to join our Seddon Homes business based in Birchwood, Warrington.
The principle purpose of the role is varied and deadline driven, so excellent prioritisation and organisational skills are essential.
The role will also involve an amount of HR administration support. You should be self-motivated and pro-active, with the ability to meet strict deadlines. It is essential that you are a confident communicator and are proficient with Microsoft packages.

What you’ll do:
- Administration support for the Construction Director/team & PA to Directors as and when required
- Assist in preparation & monitoring of H&S documentation & information for all sites
- Preparation and updating of procedure manuals and site set up paperwork
- Monitor site visits for vacant sites, including all pre-entry paperwork
- Book & record training for all site staff & liaising with Seddon Construction Training Department
- Monitor and maintain construction teams holidays and absence
- Management of safety portals, Wise & PowerPlus
- Processing and authorising weekly site staff timesheets with payroll
- Preparing management reports
- Taking and preparing meeting minutes, diary management, and general administrative duties
- Processing and distributing monthly NHBC RI reports to senior management team & construction team
- Liaise with the PA to the Directors arranging yearly site meetings
- Management of plot folders & uploading plot certificates
- The single point of contact for the Construction Department
- Provide backup administrative support during colleagues’ absence
- Ensuring confidentiality and discretion in all aspects of the role
Have you got what it takes:
- Successful track record working in a construction related environment within house building/construction industry
- Good knowledge of house building, and be able to work with the Sales, Site and Customer Care teams
- Good communication skills
- Proficient with IT (Microsoft packages, Wise, PowerPlus, Excel etc)
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously
