Job Summary
We are seeking experienced and reliable Core Drillers to join our team for a project in Rugby.
If you can operate a drill, learn quickly and are physically fit you could do this with out experience. Pay is based on productivity so the better you get the more we pay.
Duties
- Operate core drilling machinery with precision and safety awareness
- Conduct site assessments and prepare drill sites according to project specifications
- Manage and maintain drilling equipment, ensuring optimal performance
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of drilling rigs and related machinery
- Transport equipment and materials using commercial vehicles, adhering to all safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and project completion
- Monitor drilling progress, record data accurately, and report any technical issues promptly
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to minimise risks on-site
Qualifications
MUST HAVE CURRENT CSCS
MUST BE ABLE TO GET TO SITE FOR 7.30 IN RUGBY
- Proven experience in core drilling operations or similar technical roles / or
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating and maintaining drilling machinery
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- Physical fitness to handle demanding tasks and operate heavy machinery safely
Candidates must demonstrate a commitment to safety standards, possess relevant technical skills, and have a proactive approach towards their work. Previous experience in the construction or resource extraction industries will be considered advantageous.
Pay: £120.00-£180.00 per day
