GMP Recruitment are recruiting for an Assembly Operative to work for our client, a prestigious manufacturing business, based in Bromsgrove.

This is a temp to perm position that offers a long term progression opportunity.
Working Hours:
- Monday-Thursday 7.30 – 16.45
- Early finish Friday: 7.30 – 12.30.
Pay Rate:
£12.71 per hour
Working within this role your standard duties will be:
- Manual Assembly of parts
- Operation of hand tools and power tools to fit and finish products
- Visual Quality Inspection of finished goods
- Handling of raw goods/materials
- Collaborating with team members to meet production targets
You will be required to do a competence test which will involve the below.
Measuring 3 specific dimensions
Placing a drill bit into a drill and tightening
Drilling the holes where the applicant marked
Install and pull 3 off 3mm rivets using a lobster riveter
Key Skills
- Previous saw operation experience is highly desirable.
- A hard working, can do attitude towards work
- Great communication skills
- Previous production experience
- Ability to excel within a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control
