- Have a strong background in various maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and general repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and minor repairs on the premises, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and general upkeep.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential issues, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in good working order.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks to ensure minimal disruption.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any significant issues to the management team.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Liaise with external contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance when necessary.
- Assist in emergency situations, such as power outages or equipment failures
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar maintenance role
- Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general maintenance.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with residents, staff, and external contractors.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work, with a willingness to undertake a variety of tasks.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
- Have a valid full UK driving license
