About the role
To manage and monitor contractual and funding arrangements across Linkage's services, ensuring accurate records, regulatory compliance, and timely income recovery.
The postholder will work with operational teams, local authorities and commissioners to ensure services are appropriately funded, contractual obligations are met, and financial risks are identified and addressed. The role contributes to the Trust's financial sustainability through effective contract management, funding assurance and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Contract & Funding Management
- Maintain accurate contract, funding and commissioning records.
- Ensure contracts, service agreements and funding arrangements are reviewed, updated and appropriately authorised.
- Manage contract amendments and changes to service arrangements.
- Maintain effective relationships with local authorities, commissioners and other funding bodies.
- Ensure effective funding models are in place and updated regularly in line with cost increases.
- Support the preparation and development of tenders and bids.
Income Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure contract records support accurate invoicing and income recovery.
- Monitor funding arrangements and identify discrepancies, underfunding or contractual risks.
- Support contract reviews, funding uplifts and service-level changes.
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory and organisational requirements.
Reporting & Performance
- Maintain contract registers and management information systems.
- Produce reports to support operational, financial and strategic decision-making.
- Provide accurate contract and funding information to managers and finance teams.
- Escalate contractual, funding and commissioning risks as required.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Provide effective leadership and support to direct reports.
- Review and improve contract management processes and controls.
- Support the development of efficient systems, reporting tools and ways of working.
- Promote high standards of data quality, governance and financial control.
General Responsibilities
- Act in accordance with Linkage's values, policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in learning, development and performance review processes.
- Undertake any other duties reasonably required within the scope of the role.
About you
- Experience of contract, commissioning, funding or financial administration.
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret and manage complex information.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience within social care, education or public sector services.
- Knowledge of local authority funding and commissioning arrangements.
- Experience of supervising or managing staff

You will be joining a 600 plus team of staff and volunteers who are working county wide in the Lincoln, Spilsby, Skegness, Louth, Alford, Mablethorpe, Beverley and Grimsby areas.
