Essential Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence – must be a driver
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or currently working towards it)
- Experience working with children
What You’ll Be Doing
- Supporting children with daily routines, including personal care and structured activities
- Building strong, positive relationships to support emotional and social development
- Planning and engaging children in meaningful activities that encourage growth and confidence
- Following and contributing to individual care plans tailored to each child
- Safely transporting children to school, appointments, and activities
- Keeping accurate records and using IT systems for documentation and communication
- Working closely with families and colleagues to provide consistent, high-quality care
- Maintaining a safe, supportive environment in line with safeguarding and health & safety standards
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children in a residential, care, or support setting
- Understanding of child development and best practices in childcare
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence using basic IT systems
