DegreeSix Recruitment is a leading SEN specialist agency who provides support to schools in and around Bedfordshire. We provide support for pupils to access their education, giving children/young people the opportunities to learn and overcome barriers to their learning.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience supporting young people with SEN, Autism, ADHD, Learning difficulties (LD) or Challenging Behaviour.
- Experience within a school setting as a Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant.
- Someone who is patient, calm and adaptable to the needs of the children.
- A valid Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one.
What the role will look like:
- Supporting pupils with additional needs who need extra support to access their education
- Building positive relationships with students to encourage academic progress, build on confidence and encourage independence.
- Working within mainstream or specialist provisions with students who may need help regulating emotions, managing behaviours or developing social skills.
What Degree Six can offer you:
- Monday to Friday hours (08:30am-3:30pm) - No weekends!
