Duties
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle, such as a van or similar commercial vehicle, following all traffic laws and safety protocols
- Navigate efficiently using GPS or maps to deliver orders promptly to customers’ locations
- Handle food with care to maintain quality and presentation during transit
- Communicate clearly with customers upon delivery, answer questions politely, and address any concerns professionally
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, including heavy lifting of food boxes and supplies from the warehouse or kitchen area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and report any issues or delays to the management team
- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of the delivery vehicle at all times
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a delivery driver or in a similar driving role is preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with van or commercial driving is highly desirable
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when handling food orders or supplies
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- Warehouse experience or familiarity with logistics is a plus
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
