Rangeford Villages develops and operates integrated retirement communities for people aged over 60. We promote well-being whilst helping residents maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
Wadswick Green is a vibrant independent retirement village development of luxury homes for the over 60s in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside just outside Bath. The Pavilion is at the heart of the village housing Village Services, pool, spa, gym, and the Greenhouse restaurant and bar, serving both residents and non-residents.
Rangeford Care is our in house care provider and unlike many care providers in this area, is set up as a domiciliary care service, with the convenience of being on one site. We are extremely proud of the strong team spirit and the high level of care we provide for our lovely clients.
We are currently are recruiting for a Care Assistant to work 37.5 hours per week to include working every other weekend.
At Rangeford Care we are all about enabling our clients to live independently in their own homes, and as such the responsibilities of the role include:
- Personal Care - bathing/showering /dressing clients
- Giving medication in line with clients care plan
- Preparing/assisting with meals
- Companionship - including involving client in their chosen activities
- Enabling clients to be part of the Wadswick Green village community
You will be required to undertake a DBS check, paid for by Rangeford Care. Any additional training that is needed will also be provided.

Requirements:
- 1 year experience (desired but not essential)
- Have access to your own transport/be able to drive, due to the semi rural location of Wadswick Green.
- Be a team player
- Have excellent communication skills
