KS1 Teacher – Full Time | Term Time Only | Temp to Perm

Now Education is recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Northampton for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time, term-time only basis. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
The successful teacher will be responsible for a small Key Stage 1 class of approximately 10 pupils with a range of additional learning and communication needs. The school is looking for a nurturing, patient and adaptable practitioner who can create a positive and engaging learning environment while supporting pupils to achieve their individual potential.
This mainstream primary school is well-regarded for its inclusive ethos, strong leadership team and commitment to supporting children with diverse needs. Staff work collaboratively to provide high-quality teaching and personalised support, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive both academically and socially.
The role will involve:
- Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons
- Differentiating learning to meet a variety of needs
- Working closely with support staff and external professionals
- Monitoring pupil progress and maintaining accurate records
- Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching within KS1
- A strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- A passion for supporting children with additional needs
