Retail or Restaurant Team Member (with Minibus Driver Cover Duties)
Due to continued expansion, we are looking for a friendly, reliable and flexible team member to join our business.
This is primarily a retail/restaurant-based role, working as part of our wider team across various departments. In addition to your main duties, you will provide minibus driving cover during holidays, sickness absence and other periods when required, helping transport colleagues safely to and from work.
The role offers flexibility and can be tailored as either full-time or part-time for the right candidate. Weekend working will be required.
Ideally, applicants should live in or near Perth, Aberfeldy or Blairgowrie, as these locations are used as pick-up and drop-off points for our colleague transport service.
Key Responsibilities
Retail & Restaurant Duties (Primary Role)
- Deliver excellent customer service at all times.
- Support the day-to-day operation of our retail and restaurant departments.
- Assist customers with enquiries and purchases.
- Help maintain high standards of presentation, cleanliness and stock levels.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across different departments.
Minibus Driver Cover Duties (Secondary Role)
- Provide minibus driving cover during holidays, sickness absence and other operational requirements.
- Safely transport colleagues between designated locations and the workplace.
- Operate the minibus safely in varying weather and traffic conditions.
- Carry out vehicle checks and report any maintenance requirements.
- Adhere to all road safety legislation and company procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of journeys and any incidents.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or a similar customer-facing environment.
- A flexible and positive approach to work.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid UK driving licence with Category D1 entitlement (or equivalent).
- Previous minibus driving experience would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of road safety and traffic regulations.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
