Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Caretaker to maintain the cleanliness, safety, and overall upkeep of our facilities. This vital role ensures that the environment remains welcoming, hygienic, and well-maintained for staff, visitors, and clients alike. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive commercial cleaning tasks across various areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and communal spaces
- Conduct routine janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to uphold high standards of hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, fixtures, and furniture using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Monitor facility conditions regularly to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly
- Assist with setting up and breaking down event spaces or meeting rooms as needed
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently to ensure a safe environment for all occupants
- Keep detailed records of cleaning schedules, supplies used, and maintenance reports for accountability
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and efficiently manage time during cleaning routines
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills for reporting issues or requesting supplies when necessary
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment safety procedures is advantageous
- Full enhanced DBS check required covered by us the company
