We are recruiting for multiple forklift drivers within different areas in our business.
Hours of work: 4 on 4 off, 06:00-18:00hrs, 2x 15 minutes paid breaks & 1x 30 minutes unpaid break
We are not currently licensed to sponsor Skilled Worker visas. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
DESPATCH - Main Responsibilities
- Scanning all pallet finished good stock correctly in ‘real time’ as per Company procedure
- Using forklift trucks to unload and load vehicles and move stock to stores or Production areas
- Undertaking stock counts when required, ensuring stock is located correctly and rotated accordingly
- Working between both the Palletiser area and Despatch area to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensuring your work area is in a good, clean condition following the ‘clean as you go’ procedure
- Communicating effectively with all key stakeholders and colleagues
- Ensuring adherence with Company procedures, policies and guidelines
WASH AREA - Main Responsibilities
- Supplying raw materials to allocated packing lines on time
- Scanning all products ensuring they are tipped correctly to production
- Storing grower boxes correctly as per process
- Operating the forklift truck in a safe manner
- Complying with Health and Safety requirements and procedures
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and other departments
- Reporting issues and faults to the Wash Area Senior Team Leader
- Monitoring the stock quality and reporting any issues
- Complying with all organic requirements
- Utilising downtime by cleaning and tidying the Wash Area
Key Attributes
- Experience working within a similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail
- Safety awareness
- Communication and organisation skills
- Valid Forklift licence of ITSSAR, AITT or RTITB standard is required
- Scanning experience with Microsoft Navision would be desirable

Overtime is paid at 1.5x basic rate!
