We operate in a high-volume, fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork and great hospitality are at the heart of everything we do.
As the business continues to grow, we’re looking for a confident and ambitious Duty Manager to join our management team.
The Role
This is a hands-on management position where you’ll help lead the day-to-day operation of the venue, manage busy services and support both the floor and bar teams.
We’re also really interested in hearing from experienced Head Servers, Trainers, Team Leaders or Supervisors who feel ready to take their next step into hospitality management.
You don’t necessarily need years of management experience. If you’re confident leading a team, take pride in delivering great service and are looking for an opportunity to develop, we can provide the training and support to help you progress.
Emily’s is a fantastic environment to learn in. With high-volume services, events, busy weekends and a large team, you’ll gain experience across all areas of restaurant management while working alongside an experienced management team.
Full management training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage shifts, ensuring service runs smoothly and efficiently
- Support and motivate the FOH team throughout service
- Take responsibility for opening and closing the venue
- Complete daily checks, cashing up and compliance procedures
- Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness and presentation
- Handle guest queries and resolve any issues professionally
- Support the training and development of team members
- Drive sales through great product knowledge and confident upselling
- Work closely with the kitchen, bar and wider management team
- Help create a positive, organised and enjoyable working environment
- Lead from the front during busy, high-volume services

- Head Server
- Restaurant Trainer
- Team Leader
- Senior hospitality team member ready for progression
