**CLASS 2 DELIVERY DRIVER **

Abstract Recruitment is looking for reliable and experienced Class 2 Delivery Drivers to join our client’s home delivery team in Darlington
You’ll work as part of a team, delivering products safely and professionally to customers’ homes.
The Role
- Class 2 home deliveries and multi-drop routes
- Delivering items
- Handling heavier items up to 120kg using lifting equipment
- Deliveries directly to customers’ properties
- Around 1–10 deliveries per day
- Typical hours: 6:00am–3:00pm
- Full tachograph compliance, including manual entries
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery
What You Need
- Full UK driving licence with Category C / Class 2 entitlement
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Driver CPC / DQC
- Minimum 3 months' Class 2 driving experience
- Previous delivery or home delivery experience preferred
- Maximum 6 current penalty points
- No recent DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the last 5 years
- Good geographical knowledge
- Basic mechanical understanding
- Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
- Professional, positive and respectful attitude
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
