The Summer Role: Festival Crew
We need a dynamic, high-energy crew member to help us run our bustling festival stands across the UK this summer.
What you’ll be doing:
- Entertaining crowds of children and adults, ensuring everyone has an unforgettable time.
- Running games, managing the stand, and keeping the energy sky-high.
- Being part of the action (yes, you will get shot with Nerf darts!).
- Traveling to beautiful locations—some of our weekend festivals may include camping!
The Ideal Setup: This position is absolutely perfect for a student or young professional who is living in Sheffield over the summer but might be heading off to a university or college elsewhere during term time.
Mandatory Summer Dates
You must be fully available for the following festival shifts (additional shifts will also become available!):
- 4th July (11am – 6pm): Eckington
- 11th July (10am – 6pm): Beighton
- 17th, 18th & 19th July: North Cave (Weekend Festival)
- 24th, 25th & 26th July: Thirsk (Weekend Festival)
- 9th August: Bowshaw
Future Promotion: Solo Nerf Party Host!
If you smash your summer festival role, you will be invited to step up as a solo Nerf Party Host running children's birthday parties and private events!
As we expand into new areas, we are completely happy to work around where you are based during term time.
Future Role Perks:
- Payment increased to £15 per hour
- Complete Flexibility: Customers tend to book around 6 weeks in advance, and you choose your availability. (Perfect for fitting around studies/other commitments—minimum ask is just two Saturdays a month).
- Review Bonuses: Receive extra bonus payments for parties that leave 5-star reviews!
- DBS Covered: We completely organize and pay for your enhanced DBS check before you go solo.
What We’re Looking For:
- An Ultimate Entertainer: You are naturally fun, full of positive energy, and completely unafraid to be a bit silly to make a kid's day.
- Reliable & Punctual: You show up on time, every time, ready to roll.
- Childcare/Event Experience: Previous experience working with children is highly preferred.
- Driver’s License & Vehicle: You must have access to your own vehicle to transport yourself (and potentially gear in the future) to venues.
