Class 2 Driver

To support this rapid growth, we are looking to recruit a Class 2 Driver with a proven track history to join our team.

Objective: To deliver our goods to our customers in a safe and timely manner with respect.
Main Duties:
- Transportation of our goods over land direct to our customers
- Carry out daily vehicle checks/service in line with the Company Vehicle Driver Policy and report any defects
- Document and log work/rest periods and driving times
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations and parking restrictions)
- Report any accidents or violations
- Manoeuvre trucks into loading and unloading positions
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
Skills/Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a Class 2 Driver
- Driver DQC Card & qualification
- Valid truck driving licence
- Hands on experience with pump truck/forklift
- Ability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions, etc.)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
- Minimum 2 years experience
45 hours per week, job and finish. Monday to Friday. We prefer all drivers to be on the road by 6am.
