HGV Class 1 Drivers (Tramping)

Salary package:£48,000 - £54,000, per year (dependent upon hours)
Typical weekly earnings based on a 65-hour week (61.25 paid):
45 basic hours £648.00
16.25 overtime £247.80
5 x meal allowance £25.00 (untaxed)
4 x overnights £96.00 (untaxed)
Total before tax £1016.81
This is based on a £14.40 hr basic rate rising to £15.25 hr overtime rate, £5 per day meal allowance, and £24 overnight allowance.
Successful candidates will be required to overnight in the vehicle, delivering palletised freight to various businesses on general haulage and various contract works.
You will need a thorough understanding of drivers’ hours, good customer service skills, a positive attitude and must be flexible to run in on the occasional Saturday.
Monday to Friday (Occasional Saturday Morning Run-Ins)
You will need to have a full licence, CPC, and a digital tachograph card.
