Job Summary:
NMD Engineering Solutions Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Works Supervisor to oversee thepractical delivery of engineering works across assigned sites and projects. The role will coordinate daily technical activities, workforce requirements, materials, and work progress to help engineering assignments move efficiently from scheduled start through completion.
What You'll Do:
- Supervise day-to-day engineering works across assigned projects or sites
- Organise work activities according to project schedules and operational priorities
- Coordinate engineers, technicians, contractors, and supporting personnel
- Confirm that required materials, tools, and equipment are available for planned work
- Monitor progress and identify activities that may affect agreed completion dates
- Communicate work requirements and changes to relevant project teams
- Coordinate access, site preparation, and other practical requirements
- Maintain records of completed works, outstanding tasks, and site developments
- Assist with resolving technical and operational issues during delivery
- Support completion checks and preparation for project handover
- Provide management with clear updates on progress, resources, and upcoming work requirements
Requirements:
- Experience in engineering, technical operations, construction, maintenance, project delivery, site works, or a related environment
- Good understanding of practical engineering work and project activities
- Strong organisation and work-coordination abilities
- Ability to supervise teams and manage changing site priorities
- Clear communication with technical personnel, contractors, and stakeholders
- Comfortable working with schedules, work records, and technical documentation
- Practical problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Previous supervisory or senior technical experience is advantageous
- Engineering, construction, technical, or related qualifications are helpful, with suitable hands-on experience also considered

Pay: £53,000.00 per year
