The Director, Operations is a senior on-site leadership role based in Tewksbury, United Kingdom. This position leads operational execution across the Global Spectrum Superiority (GS2) division portfolio, a >$200M annual sales business with locations in Tewkesbury, U.K., Brisbane, Australia, and Salt Lake City, U.S. The position will be responsible for production operations, supply chain, integrated demand planning, and alignment between operations, program delivery and other functional areas. The role is central to achieving strong performance in cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction across a complex, mission-critical business.

What the role will involve
The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

Lead GS2 Operations, Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP), and Program Management Execution (PMX), and supply chain activities across the portfolio

Direct operational performance to support delivery, quality, cost, and schedule commitments
-
Align manufacturing, test, production support, and supply chain activities with business and customer priorities
-
Lead the Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) process to balance demand, supply, inventory, and capacity plans
-
Partner with engineering, finance, and program management teams to resolve operational issues and drive execution priorities
-
Improve throughput, increase inventory turns, and strengthen on-time delivery performance across the portfolio

Support operational readiness for production, development, and classified program activity
-
Lead process improvement, capital planning, and operational transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency and long-term capability

Develop and lead high-performing teams across operational and planning functions
-
Travel occasionally (10%) as required to support business and customer needs
What you’ll bring

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, or a related field

Prior leadership experience in operations, manufacturing, supply chain, program execution, or related business functions
