Envirocall Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced and reliable Plant & Stores Person to join our team at our warehouse in Coleshill.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing stock, supporting our site teams and carrying out minor repairs and maintenance to a range of site machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receiving stock deliveries and checking goods into the warehouse.
- Storing and organising stock safely and efficiently.
- Delivering stock and equipment to various sites as required.
- Carrying out minor repairs and maintenance to site machinery and equipment.
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults where more extensive repairs are required.
- Compiling stock requirements and preparing monthly stock orders.
- Keeping the warehouse, plant and equipment organised and maintained.
- Assisting site teams with plant and equipment requirements.
- Ensuring all vehicles, machinery and equipment are handled safely and responsibly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a stores, plant, warehouse or similar role.
- Practical and mechanically minded, with the ability to carry out minor repairs.
- Full clean driving licence is essential.
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage stock accurately.
- Reliable, hardworking and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and a flexible approach to the role.
- Be able to use a Forklift truck
Desirable
A Class 2 HGV licence would be an advantage, as Envirocall Ltd operate a skip wagon used to transport asbestos skips to and from site. Training or additional qualifications may be available for the right candidate.
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, has a good mechanical aptitude and takes pride in keeping plant, equipment and stock in good order.
