Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Mixing Operative to join our Cast Stone production team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and safe mixing of raw materials in accordance with our production safety standards. This position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in Cast stone manufacturing and a keen eye for detail, looking to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Duties
- Accurately measure and mix raw materials accordinally to production recipies
- Operate mixing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor the quality of products during the mixing process, making adjustments as necessary
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of equipment and report any issues or discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of batches including weights, and materials used
- Follow Company health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
- Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and deadlines
- Keep stock-take of materials informing managers of low levels
- Ensure work areas, equipment, and tools are kept clean and organised
Qualifications
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or mixing role is desirable but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring ingredients accurately
- Good organisational and time management skills
- A pro-active attitude to work both independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning
- Forklift License would be advantageous but not essential
- Must be physically fit
