450 Degrees is a pizza catering company specialising in private events, weddings, festivals and corporate events across London and surrounding.
We operate fully equipped wood-fired pizza trucks and pride ourselves on delivering authentic Neapolitan pizza using high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques.
As our business continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Neapolitan Pizza Chef to join our team.
About the Role
You'll be preparing and cooking authentic Neapolitan pizzas from our wood-fired food trucks at a wide variety of events, including:
- Weddings
- Corporate events
- Festivals
- Private parties
- Sporting events
Our warehouse is based in Leyton, East London (E10 6RE), where the team usually meets before travelling to events. For this reason, candidates living in East London or nearby would be preferred.
As you'll also be driving our food trucks to and from events, a full UK Category B driving licence is essential.
Our busiest period is generally at weekends, so weekend availability is important.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years' experience making authentic Neapolitan pizza.
- Excellent knowledge of dough management, stretching and wood-fired cooking.
- Experience using a traditional wood-fired oven.
- Full UK Category B driving licence
- Good spoken English (Italian would be an advantage).
- Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure.
- Friendly and professional with customers and colleagues.
A trial shift will be arranged for shortlisted candidates to demonstrate their skills with Neapolitan pizza and a wood-fired oven.
