Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Stores Operative to join our team at Fakenham. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing stock, handling materials, and supporting daily operations to ensure smooth flow of our Electrical, Fire & Security Stores & yard.
NO WEEKEND WORK!!
Duties
- Ensuring materials are prepared for our engineers
- Entering materials onto our electronic stock systems
- Obtaining the best prices and supply of materials & keeping on top of price changes.
- Returning unwanted and faulty materials
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with stock replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Organisation and distribution of necessary tools and plant
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by adhering to health and safety standards, including proper storage of materials and heavy lifting techniques.
