Woodstock House Day Nursery is looking for caring, enthusiastic and experienced Early Years professionals to join our warm, supportive nursery family.

Current vacancies
Room Leader
Full-time | Permanent | 40 hours per week
You will lead the day-to-day running of your room, inspire and support your team and maintain the high standards expected within an Outstanding nursery.
Applicants must have:
- A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- At least five years’ experience in an Early Years setting
- At least two years’ Room Leader experience
- Strong knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and SEND inclusion
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- The confidence to support different age-group rooms when required
Qualified Nursery Practitioner
Full-time or part-time | Permanent
You will provide high-quality care and education, plan engaging learning experiences and build positive relationships with children and families.
Applicants must have:
- A full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification
- A good understanding of the EYFS and child development
- Strong safeguarding awareness
- A commitment to SEND inclusion and supporting individual needs
- A nurturing, reliable and proactive approach
- Good spoken and written English for communication, safeguarding and record keeping
Forest School qualifications or experience would be an advantage.

Safeguarding and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. Successful candidates will be expected to:
- Recognise, record and report safeguarding concerns promptly
- Follow child protection, whistleblowing and safe-working procedures
- Maintain appropriate professional boundaries
- Create an environment where every child feels safe and included
- Adapt activities and routines to meet individual needs
- Work with our DSL, SENCO, families and outside professionals
- Challenge discriminatory language, attitudes or practice
- Promote children’s emotional wellbeing, communication and independence

Hours and salary
- Room Leader: 40 hours per week, worked over a four-day rota
- Full-time Practitioner: 40 hours per week, worked over a four-day rota
- Part-time Practitioner: 20+ hours per week, based on our rota
- Salary: Dependent on the position, qualifications and experience
