Motorhome window installation technician
We are looking for a motorhome conversion Window Fitter for precisely cutting and installing windows into panel vans to enhance natural light, ventilation, and aesthetics. This role requires high precision, as cutting into a van's structural panels demands strict adherence to safety protocols, anti-corrosion treatments, and weatherproofing.
Key Responsibilities include:

- Corrosion Protection: Treat all exposed, freshly cut metal with rust-inhibiting primer and paint to prevent future corrosion.
- Window Bonding & Sealing: Apply specialized automotive bonding agents and primers, securely mount the glass, and seal it to guarantee a weathertight finish.
- Ability to take ownership of the role
- Adhering to health & safety and quality
- Creating and maintaining the highest standards of 5S’s housekeeping and environmental management within the work section
Key skills:
- Experience with Power Tools: Proven ability to safely and accurately handle jigsaws, angle grinders, and suction cup glass-lifters.
- Attention to Detail: A microscopic focus on perfection—slight mismeasurements or a poor seal can lead to leaks, wind noise, and rust.
- Automotive or Trade Knowledge: Previous experience in glazing, vehicle bodywork, or general campervan conversions.
- Physical Fitness & Spatial Awareness: The role requires heavy lifting, awkward angles, and good hand-eye coordination.
Essential qualifications & experience:
- Excellent timekeeping, attendance and flexibility

- Team working attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team or on your own.
- Willingness to undergo further training and development
- A “positive can do” attitude
