We believe that using technology wisely shows strong time management and commitment to innovation. However, personalising your recruitment application to highlight your unique skills and experiences is crucial. Relying too heavily on generic, AI-generated content instead of drawing from your own strengths and accomplishments may lead to your application being rejected if multiple candidates present identical or similar information.

You'd be expected to contribute significantly to the effectiveness of the wider cardiac team by facilitating clear communication and efficient coordination between cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, specialist nurses, and ward teams.
By ensuring that patient pathways are well-organised and delays are minimised, the role supports the delivery of high-quality, timely care.
Working closely with the cardiology consultants, cardiac surgeons, and the cardiac ward, the co-ordinator helps ensure that all clinical decisions are informed, documented, and executed effectively. You would also support smooth transitions between inpatient, outpatient, and community care settings, reducing fragmentation and improving continuity of care.
Within the department, the co-ordinator enhances operational efficiency by managing waiting lists, prioritising cases appropriately, and supporting service planning and audit activities. Through proactive coordination and effective communication, the role helps reduce the risk of delays, missed appointments, or gaps in care, ultimately improving clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction. The provision of consistent, compassionate support to families also enhances patient experience and aligns with organisational values of delivering compassionate, patient-centred care.
