Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile Handyman/Woman person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible ( along with the team ) for maintaining and repairing a variety of facilities and equipment, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with broad experience and a proactive approach to varied maintenance tasks. The position requires a dedicated person capable of handling diverse responsibilities, from simple electrical work to mechanical repairs, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, and building infrastructure
- Assist the Maintenance manager with completion of outstanding jobs from the across the site
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and organisational policies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Weekend work required ( will usually be Saturday plus a day Monday to Friday )
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance or handyman roles within industrial or commercial environments
- Basic electrical experience
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic carpentry or plumbing repairs
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Customer service orientation with the ability to respond effectively to client needs
- Previous experience in maintaining equipment or facilities is highly desirable
