Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Tipper Driver to join our busy transport team.
You will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of aggregates and other materials to sites, while maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle in accordance with road traffic and health and safety regulations
- Complete daily vehicle checks and report any defects promptly
- Deliver aggregates and materials safely and on time
- Ensure loads are secure and tipping procedures are carried out correctly
- Complete delivery paperwork, vehicle inspection records and other required documentation
- Communicate effectively with transport planners, customers and site personnel
- Follow allocated routes and delivery schedules
- Keep the vehicle clean, safe and presentable
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous tipper-driving experience
- Good knowledge of drivers’ hours and road safety regulations
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
