Job Description
The main duties include but are not limited to:
- Responsible for gardening, maintenance and improvements
- Maintains gardens by planting perennials, shrubs, and trees
- Trimming and edging around walls, flower beds, and walks using hand clippers and power edging tools
- Prune and shape shrubs and trees to provide optimum growth efficiency of plants and enhance beauty of grounds
- Moss control and regular fertilization as needed
- Lawn mowing
- Barking, planting, soiling, turfing
- Undertake leaf collection and other seasonal activities as required
- Water lawn and garden areas
- Pressure washing car park and fascias
- Litter picking
- Painting and decorating
- Basic general handyman work outside and inside the building
- Be able to use all petrol equipment which involves mower, hedge trimmer etc
You must:
- Work on your own initiative and be enthusiastic, with an excellent eye for detail
- Hold a valid full UK driving licence
- Enjoy working outdoors
- You will need to be physically fit with a can-do attitude and be honest and punctual
- Have gardening / basic general handy man skills
- Have awareness of working in a safe manner
- Have ability to follow directions, work independently and within a team
- Be able to communicate effectively with both the public and work colleagues
Job Types: Permanent, Part-time
Pay: £13.25 per hour
