ARC Dispatcher – Permanent Nights

Salary calculated in line with National Living Wage, based on a 4-on / 4-off rota, 12-hour shifts with a 1-hour unpaid break.
Role Overview
K-SOC operates a 24/7 Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) and is the first point of contact for many of our customers. We are recruiting ARC Dispatchers to join our permanent night shift team.
This is a control room-based, computer-driven role involving system monitoring, inbound call handling, accurate logging, and incident dispatch in line with procedures.
This is not a static guarding or patrol role.
Working Pattern
- Permanent night shifts only
- 7:00pm – 7:00am
- 4-on / 4-off rota
- On-site at our ARC in Cradley Heath
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound customer calls calmly and professionally
- Monitoring CCTV, intruder, fire, and alarm systems
- Accurately recording incidents and actions taken
- Dispatching and escalating incidents in line with procedures
- Working confidently across multiple computer systems
- Maintaining accuracy during quiet periods and composure during incidents
Essential Requirements
- Comfortable working permanent night shifts
- Confident using computers and multiple systems
- Clear spoken English and effective communication skills
- Able to remain calm under pressure
- Reliable attendance and ability to commute for night work
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable (Not Essential)
- ARC, control room, CCTV, monitoring, or dispatch experience
- Call centre or customer service experience
- SIA CCTV (Public Space) licence (training may be provided)
