Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, washrooms, corridors, and communal spaces
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemicals to ensure surfaces are hygienic and presentable
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Follow health and safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are adhered to
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Adhere to company policies regarding confidentiality and security of premises
Experience
- Previous experience in commercial, residential cleaning or janitorial roles is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions effectively
- Physical fitness to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
