Job Summary
Schott Packaging is looking for a reliable and punctual HGV Delivery Driver to carry out a consistent, short weekday delivery run from our warehouse in Darlington to our courier in Stockton. This role is ideal for someone semi-retired or seeking regular part-time hours in the late afternoon.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete a daily delivery run from Darlington to Stockton (approx. 2-hour round trip)
- Start time: 16:00-16:30, with finish typically between 18:30 and 19:00.
- Conduct vehicle safety checks before departure
- Ensure safe and timely handover of parcels to our courier partner
What We’re Looking For
- Valid HGV Class 1 / Category CE licence (required)
- Clean driving record
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Comfortable working independently and on a consistent schedule
- Flexibility to support additional runs (e.g. six-weekly or ad hoc) with notice
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday, approx. 2–4 hours per day
- Start time: 16:00
- Occasional flexibility for additional runs with prior notice
