Job Title: Senior / Lead Vehicle Technician (Mechanic)
Location: Kingswood, Bristol
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
Salary: £35,000 – £38,000+ per year (Dependent on experience)

The Role
We are looking for an experienced, communicative, highly competent Vehicle Technician who can tackle both routine servicing and heavy mechanical repairs, whilst acting as a supportive team player who can help mentor and guide mechanics with less experience.
You will be a key figure in the workshop, handling complex technical jobs and offering advice or a helping hand to junior staff when challenging issues arise.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine servicing, brake replacements, and general suspension repairs.
- Timing belt (cambelt), wet belt, and timing chain replacements.
- Major mechanical repairs, including clutches, flywheels, and gearboxes.
- Fault diagnosis and troubleshooting complex mechanical issues.
- Mentoring, supporting, and guiding less experienced mechanics in the team.
- Ensuring all work across the workshop is completed safely and efficiently.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven hands-on experience as a Senior Mechanic or Vehicle Technician.
- Confidence with complex repairs and fault diagnosis (wet belts, chains, clutches, and gearbox work).
- Strong team spirit and a willingness to share knowledge with developing technicians.
- Qualified Mechanic.
- Strong communication skills.
- A full UK driving license.
