Bar Back
Position overview
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and energetic Bar Back to support our bar team and help ensure the smooth running of the bar during busy service. The ideal candidate will be organised, work well under pressure, and have a positive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
· Support bartenders during busy periods to ensure efficient service.
· Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
· Replenish bottles, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and other bar supplies.
· Collect and clean glasses, bottles, and equipment throughout service.
· Assist with deliveries, stock rotation, and storage of drinks and supplies.
· Maintain cleanliness of the bar, storage areas, and surrounding workspaces.
· Dispose of empty bottles, rubbish, and recycling safely and efficiently.
· Assist bartenders with preparation before service and cleaning down after service.
· Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and licensing procedures.
· Work as part of the wider bar and hospitality team to provide excellent customer service.
· Carry out any other reasonable duties required to support the smooth operation of the venue.
Skills & Requirements
· Previous hospitality or bar experience is desirable but not essential.
· Good communication and teamwork skills.
· Able to work quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.
· Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
· Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for extended periods.
· Strong attention to cleanliness and organization.
· Positive attitude and professional approach.
· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and busy periods
