Job description
Your role within the firm will include diagnosing electrical roof faults, replacing soft tops on convertible vehicles, locating and ordering parts, keeping the workshop clean and organised. If you have a preference for a specific area of this specialism that can be accommodated.
This type of work is largely considered to be more technical than general mechanic work. As a result you will require a logical and patient mind with the ability to apply yourself. It will be preferable to deal with stressful situations well and in an efficient manner.
Flexibility is paramount within this role & the ability to adapt to situations. Experience within a similar role would be ideal & help with a better understanding of what is expected from the role. Experience working with diagnostic equipment is essential.
Some work will involve mobile installations, depending on the individual and how they deal with working on the road.
Cleanliness, punctuality, good work ethic are all admired characteristics within the company. The right individual must be trustworthy & honest. High levels of attention to detail are mandatory.
