Job Summary:
Due to continued growth, DAW Signs & Fit-Outs is looking for a reliable and motivated Trainee Cabinet Assembler to join our production team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in manufacturing, joinery, or cabinet assembly. Working alongside experienced team members, you will receive hands-on training to learn how to assemble high-quality cabinets and joinery components to exact specifications while developing practical workshop skills.
No previous cabinet assembly experience is required, just a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately assemble cabinets and joinery units using your own hand and power tools
- Follow detailed technical drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions specific to cabinetry
- Carry out quality checks at every stage to ensure structural integrity and finish quality
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation throughout the shift
- Assist with packing and preparing completed cabinets for delivery or installation
- Collaborate closely with team members across departments to meet production deadlines
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies

- Learn to assemble cabinets and joinery units under guidance from experienced colleagues
- Use hand and power tools safely and correctly following training provided
- Follow technical drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions with support where required
- Carry out quality checks throughout the assembly process to maintain high standards
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workstation throughout the shift
- Assist with packing and preparing completed cabinets for delivery or installation
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across departments to meet production deadlines
- Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
What We’re Looking For:
- Interest in manufacturing, cabinet assembly, joinery, woodworking, or practical hands-on work
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from experienced team members
- Good attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to developing professionally
- Previous workshop, assembly, manufacturing, DIY, or practical experience is beneficial but not essential
