Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring dignity and respect at all times
- Support clients in accordance with personalised care plans, adapting approaches to meet individual needs
- Maintain clear communication with clients, colleagues, and family members to ensure consistent and effective care delivery
- Administer medication as prescribed, following all safety protocols and documentation procedures
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, ensuring dietary requirements are met
- Record observations and report any changes in clients’ health or behaviour promptly to senior staff
- Support clients with light domestic tasks to promote independence within their living environment
- Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safety during transportation
Experience
- Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes and communication tools
- Good command of English, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with clients and team members
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic approach towards clients' needs
- Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving transportation of clients but not mandatory for all positions

Pay: £12.71 per hour
