We are seeking a motivated and organised Sales Advisor / Sales Administrator to join our team in a busy garage door showroom. This is a varied role combining customer-facing sales, administration, and order management, where you will play a key part in delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth coordination between customers, sales, production, and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Sales
- Meet, greet, and advise customers in our garage door showroom
- Handle all telephone and email enquiries professionally
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and pricing
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Provide excellent customer service
Sales Administration & Order Processing
- Process customer orders accurately using CRM system
- Maintain customer records, sales databases and documentation
- Support sales team with administrative tasks
Order & Installation Coordination
- Organise and schedule all installation work
- Liaise with customers, fitting teams, factory and couriers
- Monitor orders from confirmation through to delivery and invoicing
Marketing & Office Support
- Manage and update company social media platforms
- Create and schedule posts and assist with email campaigns
- Carry out general administrative and reception duties
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in sales, customer service, or sales administration (2+ years preferred)
- Experience in manufacturing, construction, or building products (advantageous)
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with CRM or order management systems desirable
- Excellent communication and telephone manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and use initiative
- Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused approach
