Experienced Carer Required – Ashby-de-la-Zouch
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced carer to join our friendly team supporting an elderly lady with late-stage dementia who lives at home with her husband, her primary caregiver.
We currently have a dedicated team of four carers and are seeking a fifth team member to help provide the increasing level of care and support required. This is a rewarding role for someone who is patient, understanding, flexible, and committed to delivering high-quality dementia care.
Duties include:
- Personal care
- Assisting with feeding
- Use of a hoist
- Light household duties as required
Hours Available:
- Three evenings per week: 8:00pm – 9:00pm (including weekends on a rota basis)
- Tuesdays: 2:30pm – 5:30pm
- Every other Saturday: 2:30pm – 5:30pm
- One in every three weekend mornings: 9:00am – 1:00pm
Pay Rates:
- £15 per hour – weekdays and Saturdays
- £20 per hour – evenings, Sundays, and Bank Holidays
Essential Requirements:
- Previous dementia care experience
- DBS check (proof required)
- A caring, dependable, and professional approach
