Finance Manager Wanted
Foremost Tree Surgeons is seeking an experienced, organised and proactive Finance Manager to join our growing team.
This is a key role within the business, responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong financial controls and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day financial operations
- Preparing management accounts and financial reports
- Monitoring cash flow and budgeting
- Managing sales and purchase ledgers
- Credit control and supplier payments
- VAT returns and HMRC compliance
- Payroll management
- Bank reconciliations
- Liaising with external accountants and auditors
- Supporting Directors with financial planning and business performance reporting
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Finance Manager, Senior Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting and financial management principles
- Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, Xero or similar accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
