We are seeking to recruit a store assistant to join our group of stores in St Helens, Southport, Wigan, Salford, Hyde and Wavertree. You will be based at our Blackpool store. Ableworld is the country's leading retailer in the rapidly growing Mobility and Homecare Sector. From our retail outlets we offer customers a large selection of quality mobility and homecare products at value-for-money prices and exceptional levels of service and aftercare.
Drawing on your previous experience you will support the Store Managers in ensuring targets are achieved and deliver outstanding customer service in stores.
You will be proactive and:
· be from a retail and/or caring background
· be experienced in promoting services and products to customers
· be a confident communicator on an individual and group basis
· have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
· have a positive and enthusiastic manner
· be flexible to cover for your colleagues' holidays and sickness and have a mature
attitude to work
· have excellent organisational and problem solving skills, including up to date
experience of Windows based technology
. be prepared to unload stock into store, and deliver to customers’ homes*
* There will be some heavy lifting involved.
The hours are 9.00am to 5.00pm Mon-Sat, You will work 5 days a week out of 7 on a rota basis.
A full clean driving licence is essential as you may be required to travel and you will be required to disclose any endorsements on your licence.
A DBS check will be required for which Ableworld (UK) Ltd will meet the cost.
