Studio Manager / Design Assistant
A key leadership role within the Emma Beaumont atelier, responsible for managing the studio team, overseeing production, maintaining exceptional quality standards, and supporting the designer throughout the bridal journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage and motivate the seamstress and production team on a daily basis• Oversee studio workflow, production schedules and team performance to ensure deadlines are met• Communicate design specifications, fitting notes and production requirements clearly to the team• Shadow Emma Beaumont during client fittings and consultations• Deliver an exceptional luxury customer experience throughout the bridal journey• Provide outstanding customer service and maintain strong client relationships• Conduct quality control checks throughout the making process and prior to collection appointments• Monitor, communicate and document team performance and productivity• Maintain an organised, efficient and professional studio environment• Manage fabric inventories, supplier orders and stock control systems• Coordinate fabric sourcing, deliveries and production materials• Ensure all client files, measurements, fitting notes and design records are accurately maintained• Support the implementation of studio systems and operational processes• Uphold the luxury standards and reputation of the Emma Beaumont brand at all times
Essential Skills & Experience
- Previous experience managing a team within a studio, bridalwear, fashion, luxury retail or production environment• Strong leadership, organisational and people-management skills• Excellent communication and delegation abilities• Exceptional customer service and client relationship management skills• Experience working within luxury retail, bridalwear or a high-end client-facing environment• Excellent attention to detail and quality control standards• Ability to prioritise multiple projects and work effectively under pressure• A passion for couture craftsmanship, luxury service and the bridal industry• Positive, proactive and solutions-focused approach to leadership and teamwork
