About the Home
You'll be supporting children and young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) within a small therapeutic 2-bed home where relationship-based care and positive outcomes are at the heart of everything we do.
What We're Looking For
✔ Experience working within a Children's Residential Home
✔ Passion for improving children's lives
✔ Excellent safeguarding knowledge
✔ NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (preferred)
✔ Leadership experience (Deputy Manager & Senior Support Worker)
✔ Positive attitude and strong communication skills
✔ Full UK Driving Licence preferred
Deputy Manager Responsibilities
- Support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home.
- Lead, motivate, and develop the staff team.
- Ensure high-quality care and Ofsted compliance.
- Conduct supervisions and support staff development.
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
Senior Support Worker Responsibilities
- Lead shifts and support the management team.
- Mentor Residential Support Workers.
- Maintain accurate records and safeguarding standards.
- Promote positive behaviour and therapeutic care.
Residential Support Worker Responsibilities
- Support young people with their daily routines and independence.
- Build positive, trusting relationships.
- Encourage education, life skills, and emotional wellbeing.
- Deliver high-quality, child-centred care.
