Commercial Sales/buying Executive – HGV & Construction Assets
Salary £24000 -£28000 - Uncapped commission paid monthly high potential

Job Overview
We are looking to recruit a commercially minded sales executive to work with HGVs and construction equipment, focusing on enquiries, existing contacts and outbound calls from our database.
The role involves speaking with customers about surplus or redundant assets, building relationships and progressing deals over time. Much of the work is office-based and phone-led, with client visits developing as experience grows.
This is a hands-on, practical sales role dealing with real assets you will control your deals within the rails set by the buyer.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling inbound and outbound sales enquiries
- Speaking with existing and new customers about HGVs and construction assets
- Progressing opportunities from initial call through to purchase
- Keeping basic deal notes and follow-ups using our CRM (Pipedrive)
- Working closely with senior team members to learn pricing, margin and deal structure.
About You
- Comfortable speaking with people by phone
- Experience in sales, account management in a commercial environment
- Willing to learn the asset-trading side of the business
- Reliable, consistent and keen to work
- Based within a reasonable commute of Gosport
Experience in commercial vehicles, plant or machinery is helpful but not essential if you have the right attitude and communication skills.
Pay & Structure
- Basic salary £24,000–£28,000 (starting at £24,000)
- Simple, uncapped commission structure. Commission varies by performance and experience; established team members have, in strong years, generated commission well in excess of their basic salary. New starters should expect to build earnings progressively as product knowledge and pipeline develop.
- Earnings driven by deals completed, not complicated targets
Hours & Commitment
- 08:30–16:30, Monday to Friday
- 1 hour unpaid lunch (35 hours per week)
- No evening or weekend working
- Target start date: early February
