About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on Growth & Business Development Manager to execute our 6-month go-to-market plan for a UK food safety SaaS platform (https://system-hub.co.uk/). Your mission is to acquire new customers, build strategic partnerships, and help grow the business to £10,000 MRR.
Responsibilities
- Generate qualified leads through email, LinkedIn, phone, and networking.
- Book and conduct product demos with food businesses.
- Build partnerships with food safety consultants, HACCP consultants, and hospitality advisors.
- Manage the sales pipeline and convert prospects into paying customers.
- Coordinate referral campaigns and customer onboarding.
- Create and publish basic marketing content (LinkedIn posts, case studies, blogs) with support.
- Track KPIs and provide a weekly growth report.
Requirements
- 3+ years' experience in B2B SaaS sales, business development, or growth marketing.
- Proven track record of generating leads and closing deals.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience using CRM tools, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email outreach platforms.
- Self-motivated and able to execute independently in a startup environment.
- Experience in hospitality, food safety, compliance, or SaaS is an advantage.
Success Metrics (First 6 Months)
- Build a pipeline of 500+ qualified prospects.
- Recruit at least 10 strategic referral partners.
- Deliver consistent weekly demos and new customer sign-ups.
- Contribute to achieving £10,000 MRR (approximately 465 active sites).
Engagement
- Contract or full-time (remote, UK preferred).
- Performance-based incentives linked to new customers and MRR growth.
Ideal Candidate: Someone who enjoys building businesses from the ground up, is comfortable with outbound sales, partnerships, and marketing execution, and can take ownership of growth with minimal supervision.
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
