Job Summary
The role will be on a self employed basis working Wednesdays, Thursdays and fridays. Meeting at our yard near Henbury or on site. We cover a small 15 mile radius of Macclesfield with domestic clients.
You will need to be competent hedge trimming various different types of hedges to a high standard and reducing hedges with a chainsaw and also operating a chipper.
You will also be climbing and dismantling small-medium sized trees so will need your relevant tickets and your own top handle saw and climbing kit.
Driving license essential for this role and if you have experience towing trailers that is desirable but not essential.
8am-3pm but job and knock so once job is completed to a high standard you are finished with pay for the full day.
Experience is essential for this role, pay is £150 a day ground based and £200 a day climbing with own gear.
Duties
- Prune and shape trees, hedges, and shrubs to a high standard
- Use trimmers and chainsaws and understand how to maintain them
- On time and good communication
- Operate a chipper
- Work well in a team and bring positive energy to the team
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture with a focus on tree surgery and hedge cutting
- Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain power tools and small machinery safely
- Familiarity with hand tools such as pruners, saws, shears, and loppers
- Experience towing desirable but not essential
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions with physical stamina for manual tasks
Pay: £120.00-£220.00 per day
