Briant Traffic is looking for a Highways operative to work in the South East UK area (London, Kent, Essex,Sussex, Hertfordshire).
Opportunity:
This is an opportunity for someone who would like an entry level position in the Traffic signals industry to join a good growing company. The role is to carry out a variety of highways works ranging from Electrical wiring, cable pulling through to civil's and detector cutting.
Your role will be a Highways operative on various sites. Experience of this work is not essential as all training will be provided.
Due to the environment Briant Traffic work in, it is very important that the right candidate understands they must be punctual, polite and wear all PPE requirements set out by Briant Traffic. Briant Traffic sites have Health and Safety guidelines which must be adhered to at all times.
We have various shift patterns ie (nights & weekends occasionally) so flexibility is a must
Job Role:
- Maintaining Traffic signal equipment
- Setting up traffic management
- Loop cutting
- quality checks
- RTC's - (road traffic collisions)
- Cable pulling
- Civil's and trench laying
Experience:
- Full Clean Driving licence (2 Years Preferred) must be over 25 for insurance purposes.
- Fit and able to do manual work to a good standard
- First Aid, Manual Handling, G39 & HESA Power tools *Highly Desirable* although not essential as Briant Traffic can put you through the course if needed
