Smoky Boys Piccadilly is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Grill Cook / Kitchen Team Member to join our growing team.
We're looking for someone with previous experience working in a burger restaurant or fast-paced kitchen who is confident using a commercial grill and takes pride in preparing high-quality food. This role also requires someone who is happy to help maintain a clean, organised kitchen and work as part of a close-knit team.
Key Responsibilities
- Cook burgers and other menu items to a consistently high standard.
- Operate the grill efficiently during busy service periods.
- Prepare ingredients and ensure food is ready for service.
- Maintain excellent food hygiene and health & safety standards.
- Clean the grill, kitchen equipment, and workstations throughout the day.
- Assist with kitchen cleaning, stock organisation, and end-of-day closing duties.
- Work closely with the rest of the team to deliver fast, friendly, and high-quality service.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working in a burger restaurant, fast-food restaurant, or similar kitchen.
- Experience using a commercial grill.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
- Good understanding of food hygiene and cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays when required.
