Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces in construction and renovation projects. This role requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or filling imperfections prior to painting
- Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety standards and project specifications
- Mix paints and colours to achieve desired shades and consistency
- Protect surrounding areas by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures during painting activities
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment throughout each project
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress or issues
- Assist with surface preparation or minor repairs as needed on-site
Experience
- Previous experience in construction painting or related trades is essential
- Knowledge of different types of paints, finishes, and application techniques
- Driving licence is needed to facilitate transportation between sites
- Good communication skills in English are required for clear understanding of instructions and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- CSCS card required
Pay: £160.00 per day
